The campus of the
Vidyalaya is spreading over a sprawling area of 7.2 acres of land. A
picturesque and serene environment supports it. We are in the
pursuit of developing a lavish garden & green lawn to attract the
viewers.
The Vidyalaya is
functioning in a two storied building having 36 classrooms besides
resource room, activity room, language lab, physics,
chemistry,biology and mathematics laboratories. The rooms are
spacious and designed to give a cozy environment so as to undertake
activity based teaching and participative learning. The rooms are
fitted with modern gadgets for which it is becoming easier to teach
through OHP and LCD projectors. The primary students are provided
with hexagonal tables to facilitate them to have child centered and
joyful learning. The walls of the classroom of tiny tots are painted
lavishly with flex of animals’ kingdom.
Our library is well
furnished with around 8000 books comprised of textbooks, reference
books, and research oriented books. A good number of journals are
being subscribed regularly for the benefit of the stuenents.A latest
version of computer having internet connection is provided to have
wider implication in the teaching learning process
The computer lab is
very large with 50 latest version of computer with board band
facilities .It is manned by the PGT (Comp Sc.) and two computer
instructors. We have got the rare distinction of being the Vidyalaya
having all the teachers & students are computer literate. We have
got in house Internet browsing center.The junior science cum
computer lab is in the agenda & it will come up very soon.
All the teachers have
got training to handle varied software application.
The computers are loaded with requisite software to come in aid of
teaching.The teachings are provided with OHP & LCD projector.
A multi Gym is going
to be established in the Vidyalaya very soon.
The school is having a
very good playground with the facilities of playing cricket, hockey,
football, basketball & all out door games. The students are having
promising carrier in sports too, for which their talents are being
nurtured with the appointment of coaches & trainers.
Physics, Chemistry,
Biology, Mathematics and language laboratories are established for
the benefit of the students. There is also a plan to construct an
open house auditorium to accommodate at least 500 students in the
near future to conduct various programs under co-curricular
activities.
There has been
sufficient number of lavatories constructed separately for the boys
& girls & ladies & gents staff member.
To provide cool safe &
healthy drinking water, aqua guards are fitted with six number of
water coolers.
The students and staff
members are provided general facilities like canteen & public
telephone booth.
